Edmonton Green Regeneration

Edmonton Green is an ongoing regeneration project being delivered by St. Modwen in close partnership with the London Borough of Enfield. It represents a £100m investment in the area.

Phase 1 of the £100m regeneration completed in summer 2007; Phase 2 completed November 2008. Future phases include the refurbishment of the existing shopping malls and the redevelopment of North Square.

The next phase of regeneration, which is for the refubishment of the South Mall, will take place in 2011. This phase includes replacement of the roof tiles, paving and drainage, improved lighting, street furniture and centre signage and increased disabled accessibility to essential services.

This latest phase of regeneation, which represents an investment in excess of £1million, is being carried out in partnership with Enfield Council and is designed to lift the look and feel of the mall and make it a significantly better environment for community users, shoppers and shop keepers.
